Floral Wall Painting Found at Uzbekistan’s Boburtepa Site

Archaeologists have identified a mural showing tulips and white flowers at Boburtepa in southern Uzbekistan. The decoration was painted on clay inside a building thought to have served as a temple during the fourth and fifth centuries A.D., before being covered with white lime plaster.
